Having a newborn at home is crazy! I've been there, I get it. But documenting those new little moments really is priceless. Those teenie toes, those squishy legs and those gassy smiles! And equally important is documenting the totally normal, not so glamorous moments as well - the adorable awkwardness of a sink bath, baby burps, sofa snuggles...believe me, those are the foggy memories you'll be happy to have to look back on later.
Sound overwhelming? Don't worry! It's my goal to make this as stress free as possible! I will come to you and all we will do is take photos of you doing what you do - being a parent. You will receive a prep guide full of helpful tips about how to prepare your family and your home, and don't worry, no cleaning service or hair and makeup are required! The real moments will mean more down the road.
This style of session is also perfect for "older" newborns, as they don't require much posing and a more alert baby can make for more engaging photos, capturing connection between the two of you. I recommend anywhere from one to 6 weeks. Sessions typically last 2-4 hours, leaving time for feedings and changes. If baby has siblings (even furry ones) I'm more than happy to include them!
POSES
If you just love those little sweet little newborn poses as well, I'm with you! I always bring along a few props and wraps. We will discuss your ideas in advance so I know what shots are most important to you. We also discuss details like color schemes and style and talk about what you hope to do with your images in the end - for instance nursery art, a family portrait or a beautiful baby album.
Something to note is that the younger the baby the easier they are to pose. Although we won't be attempting anything too ambitious like we might in a studio, a baby under 10 days will be much sleepier - so if you're looking for a pose-heavy gallery keep in mind your baby's age and please let me know when we speak. If you think you missed the window, there are still a number of achievable poses for "older" newborns too.

My print collections range from $500-$3200, and a la carte options are also available. Offering the highest quality print products on the market, designed to last a lifetime and beyond, you are not only investing in a photo session, but a personalized, full service experience, one of a kind artwork and treasured family heirlooms.
To best serve you, it is ideal to arrange an in-person meeting prior to booking so I can learn your goals, we can discuss your custom session and you have the opportunity to learn about me and my offerings in person. I do know, however, that life is busy, so if this is not possible I'm happy to simply chat over the phone, which still allows me a chance to get to know you and see if we're a good fit. I understand how it is with little ones around and I strive to make your experience with me an enjoyable and stress free one!
Once you have decided I am the photographer for you, you will receive a printed or emailed welcome packet including valuable information on preparing for your session.
Your in-person ordering appointment will generally take place 2-3 weeks after your session at which time I will assist you in making your final selections of stunning images and products. We will arrange a time in advance that suits your schedule.
Should you choose one of my digital only packages you will receive a gallery of watermarked images to go through on your own time. Once you make your final selection I will send a new link to a gallery of downloadable high resolution images. Should you decide you'd like to order any print products following the shoot I'd be happy to arrange an in-person ordering appointment where you will receive 20% off all a la carte items. Collections are excluded from this offer as they are already heavily discounted.
I only book 2-3 sessions per month, allowing me ample quality time to dedicate to each of my clients. Please contact me to secure your space.
